Train
From Kitzbühel, make your way to Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm Bahnhof (train station). Take the train towards Rosenheim, which is part of the regional services. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. You will need to change at either Wörgl or Rosenheim, depending on the train schedule.

Ferry
Once you arrive at the Rosenheim station, transfer to the local bus service (Line 950) to Chiemsee (Prien am Chiemsee). The bus will take you to the Chiemsee ferry terminal. From there, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Fraueninsel (Frauen Island). The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes and will take you directly to Frauenwörth Abbey on Fraueninsel.

After disembarking from the ferry at Fraueninsel, follow the signs leading you to Frauenwörth Abbey. It is a short 5-minute walk from the ferry dock. Enjoy the scenic views of the lake as you make your way to the abbey.
