Getting There

  • Train

    From Kitzbühel, walk to the Kitzbühel train station (Bahnhof Kitzbühel). Purchase a ticket to Mittersill. Trains run regularly, so check the schedule for the next departure. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Mittersill station, exit the train and head towards the bus stop located just outside the station.

    At Mittersill train station, take the bus number 880 towards 'Zell am See'. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Nationalpark Hohe Tauern' or 'Mittersill Nationalpark'. From there, follow the signs leading into the park, which will guide you to the nearest observation decks and trails.
