From Kitzbühel, head to the Kitzbühel Hahnenkammbahn station. You can walk there in about 15 minutes from the city center. Once at the station, take the bus number 400 towards Kufstein. This bus will take you to the Walchsee stop. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Walchsee, follow the signs towards the lake, which is just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer to walk, you can take the scenic route from Kitzbühel to Walchsee. Start from the town center and walk along the main road heading towards the direction of the B170 highway. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to Walchsee. The walk will take approximately 1 hour and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
