Walking
If you are starting from the Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head northeast towards Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with St. Veiter Ring. Turn left onto St. Veiter Ring and walk straight for approximately 700 meters. You will see a large square on your right, Neuer Platz, which is the heart of the Innere Stadt/Altstadt. Continue walking until you reach Neuer Pl. 3601, where you will find the entrance to the Altstadt.

Public Transport
From the Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 1 towards Wörthersee Stadion. Ride the tram for 5 stops and get off at 'Neuer Platz'. From there, walk a short distance towards Neuer Pl. 3601. The Innere Stadt/Altstadt is just a few minutes' walk from the tram stop.

If you are at the Stadthalle Klagenfurt, exit the venue and head towards the main road, Kärntnerring. Turn right and walk straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with St. Veiter Ring. Continue straight until you reach Neuer Platz. The Altstadt is located at Neuer Pl. 3601.
