Public Transport
From Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take a train towards Jesenice. Make sure to check the train schedule for the next available departure. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Mojstrana station. Once you arrive at Mojstrana, head east on Trg Revolucije towards Gorenjska cesta. Continue straight until you reach the Upper Sava Valley, which is located a short walk away.

If you are staying in central Klagenfurt, you can walk to the main bus station at Heiligengeistplatz. From there, catch Bus 51 towards Klagenfurt, which takes you to the train station (Hauptbahnhof). Follow the previous public transport instructions from there. Alternatively, if you enjoy hiking, you can take a scenic route by walking towards the outskirts of the city and following trails that lead to Mojstrana. This may take several hours, so be prepared with water and snacks.
