From the main bus station in Klagenfurt (Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof), take Bus Line 62 towards 'Wörthersee.' Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. You will pass beautiful scenery along the way. Get off at the stop 'Soča,' which is the closest stop to Vršič Pass. From the bus stop, walk approximately 15 minutes to reach the entrance of Vršič Pass.

Start at Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof and take a train to 'Jesenice' (approximately 30 minutes). Once at Jesenice, transfer to Bus Line 18 towards 'Soča.' This bus will take you directly to the area near Vršič Pass. The bus ride will take about 40 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Soča,' and from there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the pass.

If you are already in the city center of Klagenfurt, you can enjoy a scenic walk to the bus station (about 20 minutes walk). From there, follow the bus instructions provided above. Alternatively, if you're feeling adventurous, you can walk towards the outskirts of the city where you might find trails leading towards the area around Vršič Pass, but this will require proper hiking gear and experience.
