Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards the A1 motorway. Take the exit for 'Wien' and follow the signs for the city center. Once you reach the city center, follow signs for 'Parlament' or 'Innere Stadt'. There are several parking garages nearby, such as 'Parkgarage am Hof'. Keep in mind that parking fees will apply, which can range from €3 to €5 per hour.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take the ÖBB train or a regional bus to Vienna. From the main train station (Wien Hauptbahnhof), you can take the U1 (red line) subway towards 'Stephansplatz'. At 'Stephansplatz', transfer to the U3 (orange line) towards 'Ottakring' and get off at 'Volkstheater'. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to the Austrian Parliament located at Dr. Karl Renner-Ring 3. Ensure you purchase a ticket before boarding, which costs about €2.40.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Lower Austria to the Austrian Parliament. Taxis can be hailed on the street or booked via a mobile app. The fare will depend on your starting point but expect to pay between €30 to €50 for a ride from areas within Lower Austria to Vienna.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, biking to the Austrian Parliament is also an option. There are designated bike paths leading to Vienna from various locations in Lower Austria. Follow the Danube bike path (Donauradweg) which offers a scenic route. Once you reach the city, use bike lanes to navigate to Dr. Karl Renner-Ring 3. Remember to lock your bike at the provided bicycle racks, as bike theft can be an issue.
