Car
If you are driving from Vienna, take the A2 motorway towards Graz. Continue on the A2, then merge onto the A9 towards Graz. Follow the signs for Graz city center and take the exit for Graz. Once in Graz, follow the signs for the Schlossberg. You can park at one of the nearby parking garages, such as the 'Kaiser-Josef-Platz' garage. From the garage, it's about a 15-minute walk to Uhrturm, located at Am Schlossberg, 8010 Graz.
Public Transportation (Train)
From Vienna's main train station (Wien Hauptbahnhof), take a direct train to Graz. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours. Once you arrive at Graz Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and take tram line 1 or 7 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Jakominiplatz' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Uhrturm. Follow the signs for Schlossberg, and once you reach the park, continue uphill to the clock tower.
Public Transportation (Bus)
If you are already in Lower Austria, you can take a regional bus to Graz. Check the local bus schedules for routes to Graz. Upon arriving at the Graz bus station, transfer to tram line 1 or 7 towards Jakominiplatz. Get off at Jakominiplatz, and then walk to Uhrturm, which is a 10-minute walk away. Follow signs for Schlossberg to guide you.
Walking
If you are already in the Graz city center or nearby, Uhrturm is accessible by walking. The landmark is situated on the Schlossberg hill. From the main square (Hauptplatz), walk towards the hill and follow the paths leading up. There are several walking routes that will take you directly to Uhrturm. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Hauptplatz.
