If you're driving from any location in Mostviertel, head towards the A1 motorway. The nearest exit to Herzogenburg Monastery is 'St. Pölten-West'. Take the exit and merge onto B20 towards Herzogenburg. Continue on B20 for about 10 minutes until you reach the town of Herzogenburg. As you enter the town, follow the signs for 'Stift Herzogenburg'. The monastery is located at Prandtauerring 2, 3130 Herzogenburg. There is parking available near the entrance.

To reach Herzogenburg Monastery using public transportation, start by taking a train from Mostviertel to St. Pölten. Trains run frequently, so check the ÖBB website for the latest schedule. Upon arrival at St. Pölten train station, transfer to bus line 5 or 8 towards Herzogenburg. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Herzogenburg Markt' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the monastery, following the signs toward 'Stift Herzogenburg'. Entrance to the monastery may have a small fee, so be prepared for potential costs.
