Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from any location in Mühlviertel and make your way to the town of Schlögen. Use the A7 motorway if you are coming from Linz; take the exit toward 'Aigelsbach' and follow the signs to Schlögen. Once you reach Schlögen, follow the signs that lead you to the viewpoint of the Loop of Schlögen. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that some areas may require a small parking fee.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Loop of Schlögen using public transportation, take a train from major towns in Mühlviertel (like Linz or Freistadt) to the nearest railway station, which is 'Schlögen'. From the station, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a local bus to the viewpoint. Check the local bus schedules for exact times and routes. • Walking

  If you're already in Schlögen and wish to walk to the Loop, start from the center of the village. Head towards the river and follow the marked walking paths that lead to the viewpoint.   Cycling to the Loop of Schlögen can be a beautiful way to experience the area. If you have a bicycle, you can ride from Schlögen along designated bike paths.
