Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from your location in Mühlviertel and head towards the A7 motorway. Follow the signs for A7 towards Linz. Take the exit towards B139, and continue on B139 which will lead you directly to Peuerbach. Once in Peuerbach, navigate to Rathauspl. 2 where Peuerbach castle is located. There is parking available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, first take a train to the nearest station, which is in Wels. From Wels, transfer to a regional train towards Peuerbach. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Peuerbach station, it is about a 15-minute walk to the castle located at Rathauspl. 2. Follow the signs towards the town center, and you will find the castle easily.
Walking
Once you arrive at Rathauspl. 2, you can walk around the Peuerbach castle and explore the area. The castle offers beautiful views and has a small museum that you can visit. Make sure to check the opening hours, as the castle is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM.
