Car
If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the A1 highway, then head towards Linz. Take exit 59 towards B129 and follow the signs for Mühlviertel. Continue on B129 until you reach the town of Schwertberg. Once in Schwertberg, turn onto Aisttalstraße. Schloss Schwertberg will be located at Aisttalstraße 1, 4311 Schwertberg. Parking may be available near the castle, but be sure to check for any local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Schloss Schwertberg via public transportation, take a train from any major station in Mühlviertel to the Linz Hauptbahnhof (main station). From Linz, catch a regional train towards Wels and get off at Schwertberg station. From there, you can either walk to Schloss Schwertberg, which is about a 20-minute walk, or take a local bus (if available) towards Aisttalstraße. Make sure to check the local bus schedules as they may vary. If opting for the walk, head south on Bahnhofstraße, then turn right onto Aisttalstraße, continuing until you reach the castle.
