If you are traveling by car, start on the L-1 road in Mühlviertel. Follow the signs for Steyregg, heading towards the A7 motorway. Take the A7 and exit at Linz-Stadt, then follow the B139 towards Steyregg. After about 10 km, take the exit towards Schloßberg, where you will find Schloss Steyregg at Schloßberg 1, 4221 Steyregg. Parking is available near the castle.
Public Transportation
To reach Schloss Steyregg via public transportation, take a train from your nearest station in Mühlviertel to Linz Hauptbahnhof (main train station). From Linz, transfer to the bus line 27 towards Steyregg. Alight at the Schloßberg stop, which is a short walk to Schloss Steyregg located at Schloßberg 1, 4221 Steyregg. Be sure to check the local bus schedules for timings and frequency. A train ticket from Mühlviertel to Linz and a bus ticket will incur separate costs, typically around €5-€10 total.
