If you are traveling by car, head towards Engelhartszell from your current location in Mühlviertel. Use the A7 motorway and take the exit towards Engelhartszell. Follow the signs to Stiftstraße. Once you reach Stiftstraße 6, you will find Stift Engelszell (Pforte) on your left. Parking is available near the entrance, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Stift Engelszell (Pforte) via public transportation, first take a train to the nearest station, which is in Passau, Germany or in Engelhartszell. From there, take a local bus towards Engelhartszell. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary. Once you arrive at the Engelhartszell bus station, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Stiftstraße 6, where the Stift is located. Follow the signs directing you to Stift Engelszell.
