Car
If you are driving from any location in Mühlviertel, you can use the A1 motorway. Head towards Wels and take the exit for Wels-West. Follow signs for Wels and then for Maria-Theresia-Straße. The Welser Tiergarten is located at Maria-Theresia-Straße 33, 4600 Wels. There is parking available nearby, but be sure to check for parking fees which may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Welser Tiergarten by public transport, find the nearest train station in Mühlviertel, such as the one in Linz. Take a train towards Wels, which typically runs every 30 minutes. After arriving at Wels train station, exit and take bus number 1 or 2 from the bus terminal directly outside the station. The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Tiergarten' stop, which is a short walk from the entrance of Welser Tiergarten.
