Getting There

    If you are traveling by car from Mürztal to Hofburg in Vienna, take the S6 highway towards Vienna. Continue on the S6 until you reach the A2 highway. Merge onto the A2 and follow the signs for Vienna. Once you reach Vienna, follow the signs for the city center (Innere Stadt). You can park at one of the many parking garages nearby, such as the APCOA parking lot on Wipplingerstraße (address: Wipplingerstraße 12, 1010 Wien). Expect parking fees of around €3.50 per hour.

    To reach Hofburg using public transport, start by taking the train from Mürztal to Vienna. You can catch a train from the Mürzzuschlag train station. Look for the ÖBB trains heading to Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station). The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
