    From Innsbruck, take a train to Ötztal Bahnhof. From there, transfer to bus line 320 towards Umhausen. Get off at the 'Umhausen Feuerwehr' bus stop. From there, it's a short walk to Greifvogelpark Umhausen. Bus and train tickets can be purchased at the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof or online. A single train ticket from Innsbruck to Ötztal Bahnhof costs approximately €9-€20. A bus ticket from Ötztal Bahnhof to Umhausen is about €4-€14.

  • Car

    From the A-12 highway, take the Ötztal exit and follow the signs to Umhausen. Once in Umhausen, follow the signs to the Ötzi Village parking lot "Bischoffsplatz," which is a short walk from the Greifvogelpark. Parking fees apply at Bischoffsplatz. Expect to pay around €2-€3 per hour or €10-€15 for the whole day.

The park spans 5,000 square meters and houses around 30 birds of prey from 15 different species in 15 aviaries. The park's primary goal is to raise awareness and understanding of these endangered species, promote nature conservation, and educate visitors. The birds are cared for and trained by professional falconers, ensuring their well-being and allowing them to showcase their impressive skills in daily flight demonstrations. These demonstrations take place in an open-air arena that seats around 350 spectators, offering an up-close and personal experience with the birds. Visitors can observe the birds in their aviaries for a half-hour before and after the flight demonstrations. Falconry, a UNESCO World Heritage tradition, is a central theme, with an educational trail providing insights into the history and techniques of falconry. The park is barrier-free, making it accessible to all visitors. Besides the flight shows, the park also includes a falconry shop.
