    From the Galitzenklamm car park, walk towards the entrance of the Galitzenklamm adventure park. Follow the Water Theme Trail for approximately 10 minutes to reach the gorge entrance and ticket office. The path is well-marked.

    From Lienz, take bus line 2 towards Amlach. Get off at the 'Amlach Galitzenklamm' bus stop. From there, it's a short walk to the gorge entrance. A single bus fare is approximately €2-4. Note that with the Osttirol Guest Card, the bus is free.

    From Lienz city center, a taxi to Galitzenklamm costs approximately €15-€25, depending on traffic and the taxi company. The journey takes around 10-15 minutes.

Opened up in the 19th century, it initially offered visitors views from simple stairs and ladders. Today, it's a water adventure park featuring trails along the rock faces, a water play area, and a tavern. The gorge is known for its breathtaking scenery, rock formations, waterfalls, and lush vegetation. Visitors can explore the Water Experience Trail, cross wooden bridges, and observe the climbing activities. The Water Show Trail provides insights into the area's geology, flora, and fauna. A highlight is the stone ball mill, powered by water, grinding stones into balls, a unique souvenir. For thrill-seekers, Galitzenklamm offers via ferrata routes, ranging from family-friendly to challenging. The park also includes a natural playground with wooden and stone features. Note that the climbing park was closed in 2022 due to bark beetle infestation.
