Driving
From Innsbruck, take the A12 motorway and exit at Ötztal Bahnhof. Follow the Ötztal B-road to Umhausen, then follow the signs for Stuibenfall. Park at either the Bischoffsplatz car park (€5 per day, 7:00 am - 6:30 pm) or the Mure car park (free). From Bischoffsplatz, it's approximately a 40-minute walk to the base of the falls.
Public Transport
Take a train from Innsbruck to Ötztal Bahnhof. From there, take a bus to Umhausen. From Umhausen, it's approximately a 40-minute walk to the base of the falls from the bus stop. A single bus fare from Ötztal Bahnhof to Umhausen is approximately €4-6.
Walking
From the Bischoffsplatz car park in Umhausen, follow the forest trail behind the Restaurant Kneipphäusl. Continue until you reach the turnoff for Waalweg Arzwinkel. Follow this path until it merges with a gravel road. Keep right and follow the Horlachbach stream to the base of Stuibenfall. This walk takes approximately 40 minutes and is suitable for children and strollers.
