Public Transport

From Ötztal Bahnhof, take a public bus or a local taxi to Oetz. From the center of Oetz, the Acherkogelbahn gondola provides direct access to Hochoetz and the Widiversum. Check the VVT (Verkehrsverbund Tirol) website for the most up-to-date bus schedules. Acherkogelbahn lift tickets are required to access Widiversum, with prices varying based on age and duration. A single day ticket for adults costs approximately €55.

Driving

From anywhere in the Ötztal valley, follow signs to Oetz. Once in Oetz, follow signs for the Acherkogelbahn. Parking is available at the Acherkogelbahn valley station. Parking costs €1 for up to an hour, €2 for up to two hours, €3 for up to three hours, €4 for up to four hours, and €5 for a daily rate. Payment can be made via the Parkster app or with a debit/credit card/cash at the parking machine on site.

From the center of Oetz, follow signs towards the Acherkogelbahn. The valley station is located on Angerweg. From there, take the Acherkogelbahn gondola up to Hochoetz, where the Widiversum is a short walk from the mountain station. Widiversum Hochoetz is a captivating family adventure park situated high in the Tyrolean Alps. Accessible via a scenic ride on the Acherkogel Mountain Gondola from Oetz, the park sits at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, offering stunning panoramic views. The Widiversum is designed around a charming story about a miner named Kuno who discovered magical crystals, with the central theme revolving around the search for a missing crystal stolen by an evil wolf.The park spans 3,000 square meters and features 36 interactive play and puzzle stations that blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Children and adults alike can embark on a quest to find the missing magic crystal, guided by Widi, the friendly mountain sheep mascot, and his companions. The adventure includes solving riddles, mastering challenges, and exploring three themed hiking trails: "All the senses! The adventure trail with a sharp mind", "Aim high! The tour for summiteers", and "Following the tracks of wild animals". These trails lead to surrounding huts and alpine pastures, offering a delightful hiking experience for families.Adding to the excitement, Widi's Movie Shuttle provides a futuristic 5D multimedia simulator experience. Other attractions include a milk can xylophone, a water playground, a magic gorge, and an interactive marble tower. Admission to Widiversum is free with a valid gondola ticket, making it an accessible and affordable destination for families visiting the Ötztal Valley. After a day of adventure, visitors can relax and enjoy refreshments at Widi's Bistro or the Panorama Restaurant Hochoetz.
