Getting There

    From the Tauern Autobahn A10, take the Spittal/Millstätter See exit towards Lienz/Lendorf. Continue on the Drautal federal road via Möllbrücke and Obervellach to Flattach. From Flattach, drive approximately 8 km up a well-built mountain road to the car park at the funicular. Parking is free. Note that the last few kilometers involve a narrow, winding mountain road, so exercise caution.

    Take a train to Mallnitz-Obervellach station. From there, a local bus or ski bus provides access to the Mölltaler Gletscher. The ski bus is free for skiers and runs daily between Mölltaler Gletscher and Ankogel. For specific bus schedules, consult local transportation resources.
