Getting There

• Walking

  From the Hallstatt town center, walk along Gosaumühlstraße. The viewpoint is located a short distance from the center, approximately a 5-10 minute walk. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions. Be prepared for a slight incline and some steps.

• Public Transport

  If arriving by bus from Salzburg, disembark at the Hallstatt Lahn bus stop. From there, it's approximately a 15-20 minute walk to the viewpoint via Gosaumühlstraße. Alternatively, from the Hallstatt train station, take the ferry across the lake to the village. The ferry costs around €3 per person. Upon arrival at the Hallstatt Markt ferry stop, walk along the lakefront and then follow Gosaumühlstraße to the viewpoint. Costs: * Bus from Salzburg to Hallstatt: Approximately €15-25 each way. * Ferry from Hallstatt train station to Hallstatt Markt: €3 per person, per ride.

• Parking

  If arriving by car, park in one of the designated parking lots outside the village center (P1, P2, P3, or P4). Parking fees range from €5 per hour to €18 for a daily ticket. From the parking lots, it's a 15-20 minute walk to the viewpoint. A shuttle service is available from P1 to the village center for hotel guests. Costs: * Parking: €5 per hour to €18 per day. * Shuttle from P1 to the village center (for hotel guests): Free with a valid hotel ticket from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
