Walking
From Mirabell Palace, walk towards the Salzach River and cross the Makartsteg bridge. Continue straight on Makartsteg until you reach the intersection with Franz-Josef-Strasse. Turn right, and then left onto Sigmund-Haffner-Gasse. Continue straight until you reach the statue in Furtwängler Park. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes.
Public Transport
From Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 1 or 3 towards 'Salzburg Altstadt'. Get off at the 'Friedhof Stiftung' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the statue. A single tram ticket costs approximately €2.50.
Driving
From the center of Flachgau, head towards the A1 motorway. Merge onto A1 in the direction of Salzburg. Take the exit toward Salzburg Nord. Continue on B1 and follow signs for Salzburg Zentrum. Once in the city, follow signs to the Altstadt (Old Town) area. Park in one of the nearby parking garages, such as the Altstadtgarage or the Mirabellgarage, which charge approximately €2 per hour. Altstadt Garage is open 24/7.
