The Sommerrodelbahn Keltenblitz, or Celtic Flash, offers an exhilarating ride down the Dürrnberg mountain, near the historic salt-mining town of Hallein. This summer toboggan run is the longest in the Salzburgerland, boasting a 2.2-kilometer track filled with exciting curves and steep slopes.To reach the top, take a scenic 15-minute chairlift ride from the valley station, offering panoramic views of the Salzach River Valley and surrounding mountains. At the summit, the Zinkenstüberl mountain inn provides refreshments before your descent.The toboggans themselves are designed for individual control, allowing riders to manage their speed as they navigate the track. Children aged 6 and up can ride alone, while younger children can ride with an adult. Safety is a priority, and the ride is closed during bad weather.
