    Public Transport

    From Salzburg, take bus line 160 or 170 to Hallein Bahnhof. From there, transfer to bus line 41 to the Zinkenlifte station. The bus stop is directly across from the Zinkenlifte valley station. A day ticket for public transport in zone 5, covering the round trip, costs approximately €13.60. Bus 41 from Hallein to Dürrnberg is free.

    Driving

    From Salzburg, follow the B159 towards Hallein. Shortly before exiting Hallein, turn right onto Dürrnbergstraße, following signs for Zinkenlifte. From Berchtesgaden, follow the B305 towards Markt Schellenberg, then turn right onto Auerstraße (B319). Follow Roßfeldstraße to Bad Dürrnberg and the Zinkenlifte parking area. Parking is free at the Zinkenlifte. A day pass costs €10.

This summer toboggan run is the longest in the Salzburgerland, boasting a 2.2-kilometer track filled with exciting curves and steep slopes.To reach the top, take a scenic 15-minute chairlift ride from the valley station, offering panoramic views of the Salzach River Valley and surrounding mountains. At the summit, the Zinkenstüberl mountain inn provides refreshments before your descent.The toboggans themselves are designed for individual control, allowing riders to manage their speed as they navigate the track. Children aged 6 and up can ride alone, while younger children can ride with an adult. Safety is a priority, and the ride is closed during bad weather. Once you reach the bottom, most people head right back up for another go !
