From Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), take a train towards Attnang-Puchheim. You will need to change trains once. Get off at the Mondsee stop. From the train station, walk towards the main road, and then follow the signs to the center of Mondsee. The Basilika St. Michael is located at Wredepl. 3, just a short 10-minute walk from the station.
Bus
From Salzburg, take bus line 150 from the Salzburg Bus Station towards Mondsee. The bus will take you directly to Mondsee. Get off at the 'Mondsee, Kirche' stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes towards Wredepl. 3, where you will find the Basilika St. Michael.
