Walking
From the Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the building and head west toward the Mirabellplatz. Walk straight for about 15 minutes through the Mirabell Gardens, enjoying the beautiful landscaping. Once you reach the end of the gardens, continue straight onto the Rainerstraße, passing by the Rainer Church. Continue on Rainerstraße until you reach the intersection with the Linzer Gasse. Turn left onto Linzer Gasse and follow it until you reach the Salzach River. Cross the river using the Salzachbrücke (bridge) and continue straight on the other side until you reach the intersection with the Franz-Josef-Straße. From there, you can catch a bus or tram to reach your final destination.
