    If you are starting from the Mirabell Palace, exit the palace grounds and head east towards the Salzach River. Once you reach the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank for about 10 minutes until you see the bridge called 'Makartsteg'. Cross the bridge and continue straight ahead. After crossing the bridge, take the first right onto Hofstallgasse. You will see the Haus für Mozart on your left at Hofstallgasse 1.

    From Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take bus number 1 or 2 towards 'Salzburg Stadtmitte'. Get off at the 'Hofstallgasse' bus stop.
