Walking
Starting from Salzburg's historic city center (Altstadt), head southeast towards the Salzach River. Cross the Makartsteg bridge. Once you reach the other side, you will be in the Neustadt area. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Getreidegasse. Turn left onto Getreidegasse and follow it until you reach the junction with the Linzergasse. Turn right onto Linzergasse and continue until you come to the intersection with the Sankt-Peter-Bezirk street. Turn left onto Sankt-Peter-Bezirk, and you will find Rupertusbrunnen located a short walk ahead on your right.
Public Transport
From the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), take bus number 2 in the direction of 'Salzburg, Stadtgrenze.' Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Sankt-Peter' stop. From there, walk northeast along Sankt-Peter-Bezirk street for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Rupertusbrunnen, which will be on your left.
