Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from the Salzburg Cathedral (Salzburger Dom), head east towards Residenzplatz. Walk straight through the square until you reach Residenzbrunnen, which is located in the center of the square. The fountain is hard to miss, adorned with beautiful sculptures.

Walking

If you are at the Getreidegasse (the famous shopping street), exit the street towards the Salzach River. Cross the Makartsteg bridge and turn left onto the riverbank. Continue walking until you reach the Residenzplatz. The Residenzbrunnen will be directly in front of you in the square.

Public Transport

Take bus line 1 or 3 from any nearby bus stop towards the city center. Disembark at the 'Residenzplatz' stop. Once you get off, you will see the Residenzplatz directly in front of you, and the Residenzbrunnen will be in the center of the square.

Walking

From Mirabell Palace (Mirabellgarten), exit the gardens and walk towards the Staatsbrücke bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the Old Town (Altstadt). Once you are in the Old Town, follow the signs towards Residenzplatz, where the Residenzbrunnen is located.
