Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Salzburg city center. From Flachgau, take the A1 motorway towards Salzburg. Exit at Salzburg-West and follow the signs to the city center (Zentrum). Once you reach the city, look for Sankt-Peter-Bezirk. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that it may incur a fee, typically around €1.20 per hour.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a regional train from Flachgau to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main station). Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. From Salzburg Hauptbahnhof, take bus number 3 or 5 towards 'Sankt-Peter-Bezirk.' Get off at the Sankt-Peter-Bezirk stop. The Goldene Kugel is a short walk from there, located at Sankt-Peter-Bezirk 1. A single ticket for the bus costs approximately €2.80.
Walking
If you are already in the city center, you can easily walk to Goldene Kugel. From the Mirabell Palace, head south towards the Salzach River, cross the bridge, and continue straight on Linzer Gasse until you reach Sankt-Peter-Bezirk. The entire walk should take about 15-20 minutes.
