    If you are at Mirabell Palace, exit the palace gardens and head towards Mirabellplatz. From there, walk straight down the street toward the Salzach River. Cross the pedestrian bridge (Makartsteg) over the river. Once you reach the other side, follow the road to the left, which will lead you to the historic Getreidegasse. Continue walking until you reach the Cathedral Square (Domplatz). The Salzburg Cathedral will be on your left at Domplatz 1a.

    If you are near the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), take bus number 3 towards 'Salzburg, P+R Süd'. Get off at the stop 'Hofstallgasse'.
