From Salzburg city center, take the bus number 150 in the direction of St. Wolfgang. The bus departs from the Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Make sure to validate your ticket before boarding. The journey takes about 1 hour. Get off at the stop 'St. Wolfgang, Marktplatz'. From there, you will need to walk to the Schafberg cog railway station, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs to the railway station, and you will see the Schafbergbahn station where you can purchase tickets for the cog railway.
