Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Salzburg Cathedral, exit the cathedral and head southwest towards Domplatz. Continue straight on Domstraße, which will lead you onto Getreidegasse. Walk through Getreidegasse for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Sankt-Peter-Bezirk. Turn left onto Sankt-Peter-Bezirk, and you will see St. Peter's Abbey on your right after a short walk.

    From the Mirabell Palace, walk to the Mirabellplatz bus stop. Take bus line 1 or 25 towards 'Südtiroler Platz' and get off at 'Sankt-Peter'. From the bus stop, walk straight along the road until you reach the intersection with Sankt-Peter-Bezirk. Turn right onto Sankt-Peter-Bezirk, and St. Peter's Abbey will be on your right.
