Walking
If you are in the Altstadt (Old Town), head towards the Salzach river. From the Getreidegasse (the famous shopping street), walk towards the end until you reach the riverbank. Once you arrive at the river, look for the bridge known as Staatsbrücke, which will be directly in front of you. The bridge connects the Altstadt to the Neustadt, offering a beautiful view of both sides of the river.
