Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Salzburg Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and turn left onto Südtiroler Platz. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Mirabell Palace and Gardens. Continue walking through the gardens towards the bridge (Makartsteg) that leads you over the Salzach River. Cross the bridge and you will arrive at the Old Town (Altstadt). Once you’re in the Old Town, follow the signs towards Linzer Gasse. You will need to walk along the pedestrian streets, and Linzer Gasse will be on your left. As you walk along Linzer Gasse, keep an eye out for Linzer Gasse Platzl, which is a small square located near the intersection of Linzer Gasse and the street leading to the river.

    From the Salzburg Main Train Station, you can take bus line 2 or 8 towards 'Anif' or 'Salzburg, Riedenburg'. Get off at the stop 'Linzer Gasse'. From there, you can walk towards Linzer Gasse Platzl, which is just a 2-3 minute walk. Head down Linzer Gasse for a short distance, and you will see the small square on your right-hand side.
