Getting there

Walking

From the center of Riedenburg, head south on Riedenburger Straße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mirabellplatz. Turn left onto Mirabellplatz. Mirabell Palace will be directly ahead, located at Mirabellplatz 4, 5020 Salzburg. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.

Public Bus

If you prefer to take public transportation, walk to the nearest bus stop which is Riedenburg, Abzweig Alte Messe. Catch bus line 3 or 5 towards the center of Salzburg. Get off at the stop called Mirabellplatz. The journey will take about 10 minutes, and tickets can be purchased at the bus station or via the Salzburg Verkehr app. A single ticket costs around €2.50.

Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Riedenburg to Mirabell Palace. Head south on Riedenburger Straße and follow the cycling path along the Salzach River. This scenic route will lead you directly to Mirabellplatz. The bike ride typically takes about 10-15 minutes.
