Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Gesäuse National Park. Navigate to the B146 road, and head south towards Ardning. Continue on the B146 for about 15 kilometers. As you approach Ardning, look for the signs directing you to Frauenberg. Once you reach Frauenberg, follow the local road to Frauenberg 1, where the Wallfahrtskirche Frauenberg an der Enns is located. There is parking available near the church.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Wallfahrtskirche Frauenberg an der Enns using public transport, take a train to the nearest station, which is Ardning. From the Ardning train station, you can catch a local bus heading towards Frauenberg. Check the local bus schedule for times, as buses may not run frequently. Get off at the Frauenberg stop, and the church will be a short walk from there, approximately 500 meters uphill. Ensure to check for the return bus schedule as well.

• Walking

  If you are already in Ardning and prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route to Wallfahrtskirche Frauenberg an der Enns. From the center of Ardning, head towards the B146 road and follow the signs for Frauenberg. The walk is about 4 kilometers and will take approximately 1 hour. The trail is well-marked, but be prepared for some uphill sections as you get closer to the church.
