Getting There

  From Schladming, take the Planai bus to Planet Planai, the valley terminal of the Planai cable car. From Rohrmoos, take the Planai buses to Planet Planai. From Ramsau, take the buses of Ramsauer Verkehrsbetriebe to Schladming, then transfer to the Planai bus. Bus tickets cost approximately €2-4 per ride. From Planet Planai, purchase a ticket for the Planai cable car. An ascent and descent ticket costs €30.50 for adults and youths, and €17.00 for children. Take the cable car to the mountain station, where Hopsiland is located.

• Walking

  From the Planai Stadion in Schladming, walk to the Planai cable car valley station (Planet Planai). Purchase a ticket for the Planai cable car. The walk to Hopsiland from the mountain station is short and well-signposted.

• Driving

  Drive to Schladming and follow signs to the Planai cable car valley station (Planet Planai). Parking is available at the Planai multi-storey car park or the underground car park near the valley station. Parking at the P3 car park in the Erzherzog-Johann-Straße costs €11.20 per day. From the parking area, purchase a ticket for the Planai cable car. An ascent and descent ticket costs €30.50 for adults and youths, and €17.00 for children.
