From Obertraun, follow the Dachsteinstraße (Dachstein Road) towards the Dachstein valley station. The road is a 5.5 km toll road. However, the toll is included if you use the Dachstein panorama gondola. Validate your toll ticket at the machine in the Dachstein mountain station to enjoy free road use. Parking is available at the valley station. Toll: Included with gondola ticket. Parking: Free at the Dachstein Glacier cable car lift.

Take a train to Schladming. From Schladming, take the RVB Glacier Shuttlebus to the Dachstein Valley Station. Then take the Dachstein Panorama Gondola to the top. A booking fee of € 2.90 per person applies when booking online.
