    From Obertraun, follow the Dachsteinstraße (Dachstein Road) towards the Dachstein valley station. The road is a 5.5 km toll road. However, the toll is included if you use the Dachstein panorama gondola. Validate your toll ticket at the machine in the Dachstein mountain station to enjoy free road use. Parking is available at the valley station. Toll: Included with gondola ticket. Parking: Free at the Dachstein Glacier cable car lift.

    Take a train to Schladming. From Schladming, take the RVB Glacier Shuttlebus to the Dachstein Valley Station. Then take the Dachstein Panorama Gondola to the top. Gondola (Combi-ticket: ascent and descent, Suspension Bridge, Stairway to Nothingness, and access to new attractions): Adults € 60.50, Youth € 46.00, Child € 31.00. A booking fee of € 2.90 per person applies when booking online.

Completed in July 2013, this observation deck is directly connected to the Dachstein Suspension Bridge and stands 400 meters above the base of the rock face. The stairway consists of 14 narrow steps leading down to a glass platform that can accommodate a maximum of four people. The construction of the stairway and suspension bridge required 58 mm thick steel cables, 63 tons of steel, and concrete transported by snow groomers. The total weight of the stairway is five tons. Visitors who dare to venture onto the Treppe ins Nichts are rewarded with a 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding Alpine landscape. The vista includes the glacier landscape, rugged cliffs, and majestic peaks, creating a sense of freedom and awe.
