Public Transport
From Schladming, take the Planai bus (Line 974) to the 'Riesachwasserfall' bus stop in Untertal. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes. From the bus stop, it's a short, well-marked walk to the waterfall. A single bus fare costs approximately €4-€7. Check the Planai-Hochwurzen-Bahnen website for current schedules.
Walking
From the Seeleiten car park, cross the bridge towards the Almgasthaus Riesachfall inn. Follow the 'Kleine Riesachwasserfallrunde' trail. After a few minutes, you'll reach the Lower Riesach Waterfall and a wooden bridge. Cross the bridge to complete the loop back to the car park. This short walk is suitable for prams.
Driving
From Schladming, take provincial highway L722 (Rohrmoosstraße) to Rohrmoos. At the roundabout, continue onto provincial highway L723 (Tälerstraße) towards Untertal. In Untertal, follow Untertalstraße to the Seeleiten car park, located at the valley head. Parking fees apply at the Seeleiten car park, expect to pay around €6-€8 for a day.
