From Untertal village, follow the Untertalstraße deeper into the valley. The walk to Sondl-Alm is approximately 2.5km and takes around 30 minutes. Since 1985, the alm has been a welcoming retreat for visitors. Today, the Sondl-Alm is managed by the third generation, Petra, who continues to uphold the inn's traditions and hospitality. The Sondl-Alm is renowned for its idyllic setting and authentic alpine atmosphere. Situated away from the main road, the alm offers a peaceful escape into nature. The inn is particularly popular among hikers and cross-country skiers, as it is located directly on the Wilde Wasser hiking trail and the Kristallloipe cross-country ski track.
