Alternatively, from the Passhöhe Semmering (Semmering Pass), you can walk along the Bahnwanderweg (railway hiking trail) in the direction of Breitenstein. This path leads directly to the Weinzettelwand area and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The walk from Passhöhe to Weinzettelwand takes about 1 hour.

Take a train to Semmering Bahnhof (train station). From there, you can either walk to Weinzettelwand following the hiking trails (approximately 1.5-2 hours) or take a local bus towards Passhöhe Semmering (Semmering Pass) and start your hike from there, shortening the walking distance to approximately 1 hour. A single bus fare from Semmering Bahnhof to Passhöhe Semmering costs around €2-3.
