    The primary access to the Gaislachkogel middle station is via the Gaislachkogelbahn cable car from Sölden. Purchase a ticket at the base station in Sölden for a ride to the middle station. In summer 2024, a single uphill and downhill ride for adults costs €51.50. Children's tickets are priced at €28.50. The cable car operates from early June to early October, with the first ascent at 8:30 am and the last descent from the middle station at 5:00 pm. Ensure you have a valid ticket before boarding. The ride to the middle station offers scenic views of the valley.

    If arriving in Sölden by public bus (Line 320 from Ötztal-Bahnhof), disembark at the 'Sölden Gaislachkoglbahn' stop, which is directly adjacent to the Gaislachkoglbahn cable car base station. From there, follow the 'Gaislachkoglbahn' signs to the ticket office and cable car entrance. A single bus ticket from Ötztal-Bahnhof to Sölden costs approximately €8 without a guest card. With a guest card, you receive a discount. The bus journey from Ötztal-Bahnhof to Sölden takes approximately 1 hour and 8 minutes. From the bus stop, it's a short, level walk to the cable car station.

The Gaislachkogelbahn is divided into two sections, connecting Sölden with the middle station and then continuing to the Gaislachkogel mountain.
