Take the bus from Sölden to the Gletscherstraße toll station. From there, it's a short, approximately 3-minute walk to Hühnersteign. Bus tickets within the Ötztal Valley cost approximately €4. Check the VVT (Verkehrsverbund Tirol) route planner for the most up-to-date schedules and fares.

From Sölden, drive towards the glacier road (Gletscherstraße). Pass through the hamlet of Grünwald and continue along the forest path to the road leading to Hochsölden. Follow signs to the Gampe Alm junction, then continue south across the Gampe Alm to the marked path leading to Hühnersteign. Be aware that parking is limited. Parking at nearby locations costs around €6 per day. There may be a toll to use the Gletscherstraße.
