If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Stubai Valley. Head east on the B183 road, also known as the Stubaitalstraße, towards Neustift. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will find signs for the Fernau Mountain Station. Turn onto the road leading to the station. Make sure to follow the signage closely, as this area has several winding roads. There is parking available near the station, but be aware that there may be a parking fee, typically around €5 for the day.

To reach Fernau Mountain Station via public transportation, take the Stubai Valley bus (Bus Line 590) from Neustift. The bus will take you towards the Stubai Glacier. You will need to disembark at the stop named 'Fernau.' The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may be limited, especially during off-peak seasons. A single ticket costs approximately €4. Once you arrive at the Fernau stop, follow the signs for the Fernau Mountain Station, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
