Car

If you're traveling by car from the center of Eisriesenwelt, head southwest on the main road (B159) towards Werfen. After about 10 minutes, you will see signs for the Eisriesenwelt caves. Follow these signs and park at the designated parking area. From the parking lot, you will need to take the cable car up to the entrance of the caves, which costs approximately €22 for a round trip. Once at the top, follow the marked paths to reach Gr.Breitstein, which is about a 15-minute walk from the cable car station.

Public Transportation

To reach Gr.Breitstein using public transportation, first take a bus from Eisriesenwelt to Werfen. The bus departs several times a day—check the local schedule for exact times. Once you arrive in Werfen, follow the signs to the Eisriesenwelt ticket office. Purchase your ticket for the cable car, which costs around €22 for a round trip. The cable car will take you up the mountain. After disembarking, walk along the marked trails leading to Gr.Breitstein, which should take about 15 minutes.
