Car
If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards Salzburg city center. From the A10 motorway, take the exit for Salzburg Süd and follow the signs for the city center. Once you reach the city, continue on the B150 (Schallmooser Hauptstraße) until you reach Mozartplatz. The Salzburg Museum is located at Mozartpl. 1, right in the square. There are several public parking options nearby, such as the Altstadt Garage or the Mirabell Garage.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take the regional train to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). From there, exit the station and take bus number 5 or 21 towards 'Mülln - Altstadt'. Get off at the 'Mozartplatz' stop, which is just a few steps away from the Salzburg Museum at Mozartpl. 1. Alternatively, you can walk from the train station to the museum, which takes about 20 minutes. Just head northwest on Bahnhofplatz, turn left onto Rainerstraße, and continue straight to reach the museum.
Use Tower Bridge as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
