Getting There

  • Public Transport

    To reach Wieselstein by public transport, take a regional train to Golling-Abtenau station. From there, take bus line 150 towards Abtenau and get off at the 'Wieselstein' stop. The bus ride is approximately 15 minutes. From the bus stop, follow the marked hiking trail to the viewpoint.

  • Walking

    From the 'Wieselstein' bus stop, follow the marked hiking trail directly to the viewpoint. The trail is well-maintained but can be steep in places, taking about 30 minutes to reach the summit. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

  • Car

    If driving from Tennengau, head southeast on the B162 road. Continue for about 10 km until you reach Golling an der Salzach. From Golling, turn onto the L210 road and follow signs to Wieselstein. After about 5 km, you'll see signs directing you to Wieselstein. A parking area is available near the base.

This mountain comprises three distinct peaks: the Southern Wieselstein (2,315 m), the Middle Wieselstein (2,300 m), and the Northern Wieselstein (2,188 m).
