Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Mayrhofen, take the Zillertalbahn train to Mayrhofen. From the Mayrhofen train station, take bus line 4104 towards Hintertux. Get off at the Madseit Gh. Sepp stop. Das Alte Jöchlhaus is located directly across the street from the bus stop. Bus tickets from Mayrhofen to Madseit cost approximately €3-€5.

  • Car

    From Innsbruck, take the Inntalautobahn A12 to the Zillertal exit. Follow the Zillertalstraße (B169) for approximately 40 km to Mayrhofen. Continue on the Tuxer Straße (L6) to Tux and then to Madseit. Das Alte Jöchlhaus is located on the right side of the road, opposite Cafe Sepp. Parking is available nearby. Keep in mind that there can be traffic delays. There may be parking available in the Hintertuxer Gletscher.
