Public Transport

From Eisenstadt, walk to the Eisenstadt train station. Take the train to Vienna, which usually takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Main Station), transfer to the U3 metro line (the orange line) towards Simmering. Alight at the Simmering station after 5 stops. From there, exit the station and walk approximately 10 minutes to the Central Cemetery. Head east on Simmeringer Hauptstraße toward Matzleinsdorfer Platz, then continue straight until you reach the cemetery entrance at Simmeringer Hauptstraße 234.
Bus

Start at the Eisenstadt bus station and take the bus line 2 or 3 towards Vienna. The journey may take around 1 hour. Get off at the stop 'Simmering Hauptstraße' in Vienna. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the Central Cemetery. Cross the street and walk down Simmeringer Hauptstraße. The cemetery will be on your left at number 234.
Walking

If you are close to the center of Eisenstadt, you can take a scenic walk to the Central Cemetery. Head towards the train station and then follow the directions to the train station as mentioned above. However, keep in mind that this will be a longer journey, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on your walking speed.
